Groundbreaking South African duo Stiff Pap follow up their critically-acclaimed TUFF TIME$ EP with an equally innovative collection of remixes from some of South Africa’s most exciting leftfield club producers.

Leading the charge is the ethereal remix of TUFF TIME$, featuring NYC rap lynchpin Wiki, and remixed by SA-raised multi-hyphenate Petite Noir, who’s ‘Noirwave’ sound draws from elements of post-punk, kwaito, and pop, and has seen him release globally-acclaimed albums on Domino Records offshoot Double Six.

Taking the original's lush synth melodies and turning up the waviness several notches, Petite Noir’s remix pulls the track in an even more meditative and introspective direction, with fragments of vocals roughly chopped over a loosely organic house rhythm that feels as if it could have been played live.

Out on October 22nd, the remix is the first of a 3-track remix EP that features equally mind-bending reimaginings from Nyege Nyege affiliate Menzi and fast-rising club agitator Rose Bonica.
